Full account management in the portal
Under Account in the portal: contact details and language, email change with confirmation, password change, moving 2FA to a new device, recovery codes to log in without your phone, devices with per-device logout and login history, choosing which emails you get, and an account deletion request. We email you when you log in from a new device.
-
New
New support: request numbers, attachments, emails and a response time per plan
On the Support page every request has a number, a category and a priority, and takes up to 3 attachments. You get an email for every reply and the menu shows new replies. The first response time for your plan is shown at the top of the page. You can close or reopen a request yourself and tell us whether it helped.
-
New
Self-improvement for search too, with automatic synonyms
The nightly reviewer now also checks the week's searches with no results or no clicks. The synonyms it suggests are added automatically (only if they find products; remove them in Synonyms) and the weekly email shows what improved.
-
Improvement
Notice when a renewal fails
If the automatic card charge for your renewal fails, we email you at once with the reason, when we will retry and the deadline to pay with another card, so there is no interruption. If the deadline passes, we tell you the service was suspended and how to reactivate it immediately.
-
New
AI assistant self-improvement
Every night an AI reviewer checks the assistant's weak answers (and a sample of the rest), finds the cause and we fix it; every instruction change is first tested on a "gold set" of real questions. Included in the AI add-ons; in the portal: AI assistant → "Your assistant's self-improvement".
-
New
Custom plan
A new plan tailored to you for large catalogues, several stores, ERP and special features; price on request (Pricing, and Billing in the portal).
-
New
Automatic upgrade when your catalogue grows
If your catalogue goes over your plan's products: notice at once, and after 7 days an automatic upgrade to the plan that fits, charging only the difference (with your consent, in Billing).
-
Improvement
Subscriptions only with a stored card
A subscription is activated only when a card is stored for automatic renewal; only the trial runs without a card. A payment made without storing a card is refunded automatically. In the portal: a notice with an “Add card” button that opens the payment directly.
-
Improvement
AI assistant: 👍/👎 and continuous improvement
Under every answer the visitor can say whether it helped. Together with automatic signals (e.g. "not found", the customer asks the same again) we find weak answers and keep improving the assistant. Answers are kept for 90 days, without identifying data.
-
Improvement
Trial with Pro limits and clear AI information
During the trial: Enterprise features, at least Pro limits, both AI add-ons; to try the AI you buy AI credits. One trial per store, VAT number and email. The portal shows days left, the plan after the trial and whether your catalogue fits it.
-
New
Banners and “Notify me”
Banners: an image or message above the results for specific searches or categories, with dates and click counts. “Notify me”: the visitor leaves an email on an out-of-stock product and is notified when it’s back, in your store’s name (or download the list). Pro and Enterprise.
-
New
Purchase journeys, monthly PDF report and Google Analytics 4
New Purchase journey tab: what buyers searched for and where the rest dropped off. A monthly PDF report for management, also emailed on the 1st. GA4: searches and clicks are sent to your site’s Google Analytics. Pro and Enterprise.
-
New
Search preview in the portal
New Search preview menu: type a word and see the results as shoppers see them, with why each one appears (all words, typo or greeklish, brand, pinned, out of stock). On Pro and Enterprise, 📌 First and Hide in one click.
-
Improvement
“What Findora brought you”, instant alerts and “What’s new” in the portal
On the Overview: this month's sales from search next to your subscription cost. An instant email if search stops on your site or the catalogue fails. The weekly report starts with “What to do”. In the menu: What’s new and the number of urgent actions.
-
New
Synonyms on every plan, with suggestions
In Search rules → Synonyms: for what shoppers search for and don't find, Findora suggests a synonym (only if it returns products) that you approve in one click. You can add your own too. Now on Basic as well.
-
New
Customer questions to the AI assistant, in the portal
Overview → Customer questions now shows all questions to the AI assistant: the most frequent ones, recent conversations with the full sequence of questions, and which led to a click or add to cart. What to do lists questions for which the assistant found no product. Only the text of the questions is stored, without identifying data; emails and phone numbers are hidden automatically.
-
New
Tabbed dashboard and “What to do”
The portal Overview is now split into tabs: What to do (prioritised actions, each with the reason, instructions and a link), Traffic, Conversion, Problem products (out of stock with demand, clicks without sales), Customer questions and All KPIs. From a search that needs fixing, “New rule” opens a ready-made rule.
-
Improvement
Conversation history in the shopping assistant
On every new page the assistant opens clean, ready for a new question. With the History button shoppers see this visit's conversations (one row per conversation, with its first question) and tap one to get it back exactly as it was, with the same answers and products, and continue where they left off. The history stays only in their browser and is cleared when the tab is closed.
-
Improvement
Semantic search in the dropdown too
When a shopper types a sentence (“something for leg cramps”) and pauses briefly, the dropdown immediately shows the products AI picked, with “Understood: … (AI)”, no Enter needed. It does not run on every keystroke or on half-typed words.
-
Improvement
A cleaner search bar
The barcode, camera and microphone buttons appear in a “capsule” when the shopper hovers over the search bar or taps into it to type. The bar stays clean and on mobile the whole placeholder is visible; the AI assistant button is always shown. Setting in the portal: Settings → Appearance → Search bar buttons.
-
Improvement
Smarter semantic search
AI now also steps in when the shopper types a sentence (“my scalp itches”) or when the results are irrelevant, not only when they are few; it looks at the candidate products and keeps only those that fit. It also works on the theme's search page (PrestaShop, module 1.5.0).
-
New
Extra search packs
If a store goes over its monthly searches, search never stops: an extra pack equal to its plan's limit is added automatically, without changing plans, up to a maximum the store sets. Email at 80% and on every charge; the count resets every month on the subscription's start date. Settings in the portal: Billing → Extra searches.
-
New
AI search: semantic and photo search
Two new capabilities on the Pro and Enterprise plans, charged to AI credits: semantic search (natural-language questions, e.g. “something for cramps” → magnesium) and photo search (camera button; AI reads the packaging and finds the product). Turn them on/off in the portal Settings.
-
Improvement
PrestaShop: filters on the results page too
The shop's own search page (with the theme's header, footer and product cards) now shows Findora's filters in the left column: category, brand, price and availability, with counts, “Active filters” and “Clear all” — just like category pages. With module 1.4.8, installed automatically.
-
New
Module for Magento 2
Stores on Magento 2.4 connect with one module: catalogue in every store view (prices including VAT, specials, configurable products, brand, EAN), changes within minutes, add to cart from the results, order tracking. Download it from the portal (Installation) with your keys already inside.
-
Improvement
User invitations accepted by the user themselves
On the Users & roles page, the activation link now goes only to the user's email and access starts only when they accept it («Awaiting acceptance» until then). Users with an existing account click «Accept» or «Decline» inside the portal. A new password signs out all open sessions.
-
Improvement
The AI assistant always speaks your site's language
The shopping assistant and the product advisor reply in the language of the page the shopper is viewing, even when the store uses its own language codes (e.g. «gb» for English). If the shopper switches language, the conversation restarts in the new one.
-
Improvement
Search always matches your store's catalog
Products you disable or delete leave the results within minutes (with PrestaShop module 1.4.7, installed automatically), and the full feed is always re-checked at your plan's interval, however frequent the small updates are.
-
New
Search rules: you decide how search behaves
New Search rules page in the portal. On all plans: out-of-stock handling (last, hidden, with an «available alternative»), what shoppers see when nothing is found, ranking priority and categories never suggested. From Pro: per-query rules with dates, preview, measurement and history. On Enterprise: rule suggestions from your data and rules in plain words.
-
New
The AI advisor finds the composition on the manufacturer's website
When a shopper asks about composition, ingredients, strength or directions and the product page does not mention them, the assistant looks them up on the manufacturer's official website and answers with them, showing the source as a link. If no official information is found, it says so and refers the shopper to the pharmacist. The assistant also always speaks the language of the site page (Greek or English).
-
Improvement
The search bar appears straight away, without flicker
On heavy pages or slow phones, the theme's own search bar could show briefly before Findora took over. The script now starts earlier, and the plugins (PrestaShop 1.4.5, WooCommerce and OpenCart 1.3.4) keep the old bar hidden until the Findora bar appears. If Findora fails to load for any reason, the store's bar shows on its own within a few seconds, so the site never breaks. PrestaShop updates automatically; for WooCommerce/OpenCart upload the new plugin from the portal, or copy the install code again for custom integrations.
-
New
Assistant results and email reports
In the portal: clicks, add-to-carts, orders and revenue from the assistant. By email: monthly AI usage, low-balance alert and a weekly search report.
-
New
Card-free trial and AI add-ons
A trial with every feature and both AI add-ons, no card required (one per store and VAT number). The AI shopping assistant and the new AI product advisor are now add-ons for any plan.
-
Improvement
The AI assistant in the search bar
The assistant now has its own button inside the search bar, and a “Need help choosing the right product?” bubble introduces it to visitors once per visit.
-
New
AI assistant: questions about a product
On every product page, a “Questions about this product?” button: shoppers ask what it helps with, its strength, how to use it or whether something suits them better, and the assistant answers from your product page.
-
Improvement
Barcodes from any store field
Findora finds each product's barcode in whichever field you store it (EAN-13, UPC, ISBN or MPN) and tells your internal codes apart. Catalogue quality now shows only real issues. PrestaShop module 1.4.4.
-
Improvement
Search: long, conversational questions
Questions like “I want care products for dry, damaged hair” now find the category and rank the best-matching products first. Greek inflections are recognised, and filler words no longer affect results.
-
Improvement
AI assistant: faster, fixed price per question
Frequent questions are answered almost instantly, with fresh prices and stock. Billing is now a fixed price per question. New: voice input in the assistant.
-
New
AI shopping assistant
A new assistant that chats with your shoppers and guides them to the right products — or to alternatives when something is not stocked. Available on Pro and Enterprise with AI credits (portal → “AI assistant”).
-
New
Correct results even when categories are wrong
Findora now recognises what each product is from its name (type, area, kids/baby) and uses it for questions like “face sunscreens under €20”. Shoppers see correct results even when a product sits in the wrong category. On our first shop’s catalogue, correct-type results for such questions rose from 80% to 99%. In the portal, “Catalogue quality” also lists likely category mistakes.
-
New
PrestaShop: automatic module updates
From version 1.4.2 the Findora module for PrestaShop updates itself when a new version is out, in the background, with no delay for visitors. If you prefer to do it yourself, there is an “Update Findora” option in the module menu in Module Manager, and automatic updates can be turned off in the module settings.
-
Improvement
Real connection status in the plugins
The plugin settings page (PrestaShop 1.3.3, WooCommerce, OpenCart) now shows whether the last communication with Findora succeeded and, if not, why — e.g. “wrong secret key — copy it again”. Leftover installation files that contain keys are also removed automatically.
-
New
Plugins for WooCommerce and OpenCart
New plugin for WooCommerce and extension for OpenCart 3.0.x and 4.x. They complete the 3 steps automatically (catalogue, search script, orders), add products to the cart without leaving the page, and download from my.findora.tech with your keys already inside.
-
New
Service updates with zero downtime
Findora improvements now roll out with no interruption: the service runs as two copies that are updated one at a time, so search on your shop keeps answering during updates.
-
New
More accurate category and price questions
Questions like “face sunscreens under €20” now show only products of the requested category, even when the shop has placed a product in several categories (e.g. a body sunscreen also under face sunscreens). Price and stock updates no longer affect searching by brand name.
-
New
PrestaShop: one-click module updates
From version 1.4.0, when a new module version is out, an “Update now” button appears on the Findora page inside PrestaShop. One click installs and activates it immediately: no zip, no restart, nothing to do on the server. Keys, settings and statistics stay as they are.
-
New
PrestaShop: results on the shop's own page
With PrestaShop module 1.3.4, search results appear on the shop's own search page (theme header, footer and product cards), ranked by Findora. The search bar keeps voice, barcode and clear. If Findora does not respond, PrestaShop's own search is shown.
-
New
PrestaShop, WooCommerce and OpenCart plugins generally available
The plugins for PrestaShop (1.7, 8, 9), WooCommerce and OpenCart (3.0.x and 4.x) are out of pilot and available to every store. Download them from the portal, under “Install”, with your keys already inside.
-
Improvement
PrestaShop module 1.3.2 and migration from Findora 1.3.1
The new version repairs the catalogue connection on its own if its key is lost. Stores running Findora 1.3.1 move their statistics to the Cloud and the old module is removed safely.
-
Improvement
Billing details and feature settings in the portal
In the portal Billing page you can see and correct your billing details (tax office, address, invoice email). In Settings you can switch voice, barcode and “Recently viewed” on or off.
