Search bar
A smart search bar for e-shops that understands Greek
Findora takes over your store’s existing search bar and turns it into smart search: Greek, Greeklish, typos, natural language and results with image, price and add-to-cart while the shopper types.
The problem
Why the search bar decides sales
Anyone typing into the search bar knows what they want: they are the visitor closest to buying. If they get “0 results” or unrelated products, they don’t search again; they go to another store.
In Greek e-shops this happens a lot. Shoppers type on phones in Greeklish (“antiliako”), without accents, with typos, or with brand names spelled the way they sound. They also type questions, such as “face sunscreen under €20” or “something for sleep”. Most built-in platform searches only look for exact words in product titles.
A good search bar understands shoppers however they type, shows results before they finish typing, and gives the store real numbers: what people search for, what they can’t find, and how much revenue search brought in.
Findora
What the Findora search bar does
- Results while the shopper types, with image, price, discount and an add-to-cart button, plus categories and brands.
- Greek, Greeklish, accents and typos: “antiliako”, “σαμπουαν” or a phonetically typed brand bring the right products.
- Natural language: price (“under €20”), category and need (“something for sleep”) inside the query.
- Never unrelated results: when the store doesn’t carry what was asked for, it says so clearly and shows only related products.
- Voice, barcode and photo: voice search, barcode scanning on mobile, and photo search on Pro and Enterprise.
- 12 KPIs and revenue from search in the customer portal, plus the searches that found nothing.
- Fail-open: if the service doesn’t respond, the store keeps working with its own search. Never a broken site.
- Connect in 3 steps on PrestaShop, WooCommerce, OpenCart, Magento 2 or any platform (feed plus one line of script).

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Does it replace my theme’s search bar?
No, it takes it over. The bar stays where it is, in your store’s design; Findora adds the results on top. If it ever doesn’t respond, your theme’s own search works as before.
Does it slow my site down?
The script loads asynchronously and doesn’t delay page load. Searches run on Findora’s servers in the EU, not on your store’s server.
Which platforms does it work on?
PrestaShop, WooCommerce, OpenCart and Magento 2 with a ready-made add-on. Any other platform with an XML catalogue feed and one line of script.
How much does it cost?
There are plans by catalogue size and searches, with a free trial. See Pricing.
