Site search for fashion e-shops
Shoppers type “t shirt” or “μπλούζα”, “gym clothes” or “running shoes”. Findora understands both.
«μπλούζα» · «t shirt» · «ρούχα για γυμναστήριο» · «φόρεμα κάτω από 40€»
The challenge
Why fashion search needs more
In fashion and footwear, shoppers use everyday words, singular or plural, with or without accents, often in English: “φόρεμα” or “dress”, “τζιν” or “jeans”, “ζακέτα” or “cardigan”. Product titles follow the supplier’s wording.
Many purchases start from the occasion, not the item: “something for a wedding”, “for the beach”, “for the office”, “for the gym”. Keyword search finds nothing for these, because no title says “for a wedding”.
Findora joins Greek and English clothing terms through a synonym dictionary and recognises occasions: beach, office, gym and running, weddings and christenings, winter, gifts. It also understands price in the query (“dress under €50”), and on Pro and Enterprise shoppers can search with a photo.

Does it understand Greek and English terms together?
Yes. “μπλούζα” and “t shirt”, “παντελόνι” and “trousers” bring the same products.
Can I promote specific products for a search?
Yes, with the portal’s search rules: “these first”, boosting or burying a brand or category, synonyms, and promotion banners above the results (Pro, Enterprise).
Can shoppers search with a photo?
Yes, on the Pro and Enterprise plans. They photograph a garment or a label and see the same or similar products. The photo is not stored.
Can I add my own synonyms?
Yes, from the customer portal on every plan. If your customers write “φουστάνι” for “φόρεμα”, you add it with one click.
